Café by day. Cocktail bar by night. Located at the secondary point of ingress to the Hai Dang compound.

Cocktail menu is available by QR code. Coffee here really seems to be an afterthought.

No discernible food or cake/bread options.

Espresso was not anything other than brown sludge. Can’t really recommend.

Maybe better for a drink at night.

For daytime I’ll give it a solid 3⭐️ rating.

Think french colonial aged Vietnam pre Vietnam war era or around then. Small little bar/cafe with a limited range of items but just ask for anything mixed, fairly priced even for AUD exchange rates. Happy hour marked it down by a 1/3 I think. The bar tender, god bless his soul, was very welcoming and friendly. Even cut us up some apples from his mother's garden and even skinned it. This cafe brings a very unique atmosphere. The name "SONG" might already proves it:V. They sell cafe during the day, and cocktail at night. I came here in the afternoon, ordered a cup of coffee on their "special" coffees menu, It was the "song o day song" if my memory serves me right. It had a layer of flavored cream topping the cup, mixed with the coffee in the bottom and the outcome was fantastic. definetely one of the reasons has me coming back to Hai Phong...
