As a franchise, it's standard compared to other locations. I feel the prices are a little high. I've only been to a couple of other locations, but 28K ($1.15) for a doughnut might be more expensive than a regular Dunkin' Donuts or similar to Krispy Kreme. They're probably good, and I've seen different variations (white coating on top, green, blue?, sugar). I have seen regular/similar doughnuts at various places (including convenience stores for 30K+).
The items that have bits of meat look not as fresh because of the dried up grease from the meat (slices of sausage, etc.).
Otherwise, all of their items look decent to high quality; you'll just be spending quite a bit to get some snacks. I believe most items are around 22K-32K. I paid 60K ($2.45) for the three I got on Mon (which was discounted). The circular one was labeled as chicken parmesan(?), but it wasn't. It was some sort of chicken mix, but no sauce or mozzarella. The long one was a sugar topped raisin bread/stick/roll. The other was called "ribs" or something - just a creative name that kind of resembled ribs, I guess.
I like they keep their items in enclosed cases and at least a couple days ago, they had a 20% off all encased items promotion (Idk if it is just happening now or if it's at certain times - I last went in Mon at 7pm).
[Update May 16] I've tried a couple of other things. The quality is always pretty good. This past time, I tried a chicken sandwich, however, I cannot say if it was chicken or not. I took the one without bacon - still tasted ok...
Read moreI bought a few items to go. There were several display-cases throughout the bakery. *Some bakeries don't allow the public to access selections on their own (for of course, sanitary reasons - which I can relate), but not here.
Any one can slide-open and close the display cases throughout the store with no supervision whatsoever. Not exactly a good idea, if you ask me. But many chain bakeries are setup this way as they are short-staffed (one person doing a number of jobs) to maximize profit.
*However to note, the main display-case, where the associate worked, only they could access and not any of the public.
I took a Blueberry Pastry, Chocolate Croissant, and a Curry Chicken Egg Croissant which appeared to have an upside down, boiled white-egg that was smack in the center of it.
They were all good. The Blueberry Pastry had a good amount of blueberry preserves in the center of it, but there were no blueberry fruit pieces though. Still quite good!
The Chocolate Croissant was OK, nothing particular about it.
The Chicken Curry Egg Croissant was a touch spicy and the croissant was delicious.
