Dang Xua Cafe Stock House — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Dang Xua has been renovated, it was closed for a long time. It is much cleaner now, roamier. I was there for about 1 hour, and even not bitten by mosquitoes, like before. Now, there are many young girls as waitresses, short skirts, big behinds and legs (chân đầy, mà khá mập). I ordered the menu for drinks, chose avocado smoothie (sinh tố bơ). It wasn't available. Instead, she offered a passion fruit smoothie (sinh tố chanh đây). I asked for the menu, for supper, for after the smoothie. There are many, many dishes, nice photos, prices from very reasonable up 1m. So far, so good. Then, I waited, and waited, and waited. A table near me with 3 middle-aged men was more attractive, had a lot of laughter and attention. After 20 minutes or so I called, in Vietnamese, said that I was waiting for a long time already. I was understood, got the reply "coming". Not "sorry" whatsoever. Not polite. Not an enthusiastic servant. The smoothie came. It was strawberry. No fruit at all, just blended ice cubes with a little bit of syrup. 49.000 vnd. I complained that I was offered passion fruit, and this was not it. No excuse, they just wanted to take it away. I said I would take it, did not want to wait again. No "thank you". No apology. Not polite. I could not finish the smoothie , too much ice, no taste. I asked to pay, received no excuse or whatsoever, and left, not animated anymore to have supper here, unenthusiastic impolite service and...

Remember double check all foods and drinks price with your waiter/waitress. We get 2 dishes of fried rices and they charge me "night time menu" which is expensive than the price on menu 100k - even at lunch time (around 1pm) and of couse without any confirm while I order. Bad experience....

Đúng với tên gọi NHÀ CỔ DÁNG XƯA -quán là cả một công trình xây dựng rất công phu và tỉ mỉ từng món đồ gỗ cổ luôn luôn xanh mát bởi mảng xanh phủ kín quán một cách rất nghệ thuật. Bạn sẽ ấn tượng ngay từ khi dừng xe và bắt gặp một hàng rào cây xanh được chăm sóc chuyên nghiệp tạo nên nét mộc mạc chân quê, mang đến cho mình cảm giác dễ chịu làm sao. Tôi đặc biệt thích thú khi đi vệ sinh vì lối vào nhà vệ sinh đi ngang qua một rừng hoa đẹp mê ly. Cơm trưa ở đây rất ngon và hợp khẩu vị cây nhà lá vườn. Tuy nhiên tôi chấm cho quán 4 sao vì đội ngũ phục vụ hơi thưa người, có lẽ vì quán khá rộng nên khi bạn cần phục vụ bạn sẽ không nhìn thấy họ đứng đậu mà bạn phải gọi và chờ.
