I am not too sure how it's possible this place never got less than 5 stars and I am sorry to be the first one to do it!
The atmosphere is great and the presentation of the dishes is excellent. Service is as always in Vietnam, irreproachable. However we didn't think the food was anything special. We ate in many other vegetarian restaurants for half the price which were better in taste. We took some of the expensive dishes at the end of the menu and they weren't any better than the more classic one. Also in the rainbow sticky rice (which only had 3 colours by the way), we bite on a hard ball, as hard as a stone. We showed it to the staff who explained it could happen as part of the cooking process. They didn't offered anything to make up for it but my mother hurt herself a bit eating it so that wasn't great. Even so we understand it can happen so that's not the reason for the 3 stars. In total for 3 people we spent 1 million wanting to try everything but if we didn't see the good rating before we would have ordered a lot less and be less disappointed.
In conclusion it's a good restaurant but maybe a bit overrated...
Read moreA wonderful vegan friendly place to visit. We discovered this restaurant this afternoon and stopped in for a peach tea which was delicious and refreshing and decided we had to return for dinner.
Dinner and the experience did not disappoint and the local traditional cake tray of steamed rice delicacies were new and very pleasant. We particularly loved the fig salad and look forward to returning for a special pho and Banh mi tomorrow!
The space is peaceful and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
There is even a homestay upstairs which looked really spacious too.
What a great way to start our time in Hue. ❤️
We spent more than most people because we like to try lots of food being foodies. So it would be easy to spend
Read moreThe food is probably the best tasting food Ive had in Vietnam so far.
But the portions on the lions mane mushroom steak was so small. Compared to the photos posted and on the menu, the one they gave me was significantly smaller. There was so much empty space on my plate. We ordered two of these and they were both small.
The inside seating space has a big open door, so there’s mosquitoes wherever you sit.
And the waitress wears way too much perfume. It was obnoxious.
Other than that, the steak was good, the cakes were good, and the fried seaweed was amazing. Especially if you have it with the sour soup...
