Lovely authentic Vietnamese food, would definitely come back here again! We arrived around 2pm to find an empty home stay. If you find the place is empty, just head through the home stay on the path to the back left of the plot, it’s all owned by the same family and you should find a dining area / kitchen with a drinks fridge. If you shout loud enough or poke your head around the dark rooms, you should find someone who can help. They seated us and quickly cooked up a lovely vegetarian meal of authentic Vietnamese food. It felt strange at first because it was empty, but I’m glad we stayed.
Food: They cooked tofu in tomato sauce, fried veggies, rice and a dessert of bananas. It came to 170k VND for 2 people including 2x 1.5L water which we think is great value for money. The food tasted great and was a perfect respite after a long morning in the sun. They prepared the meal really quickly even though no one else was there and they were clearly doing other things when we arrived, which we really appreciated.
Service: Friendly, welcoming owners. The toilet was clean and had soap to wash your hands, and the dining area was shaded and clean.
