Minh Quan Restaurant( PET GARDEN ) (Cooking class local food) — Restaurant in Ninh Bình Province

We accidentally stumbled across this gorgeous little restaurant when doing some exploring and we’re so glad we did. Not only is the scenery absolutely stunning but the drinks and food is delicious too. The owner is the sweetest and went out of his way to make sure we felt right at home even putting on some of our favourite music. It’s a beautiful scenic ride from a turn off at the main road. Don’t be deceived by the pole across the road, we just ducked our heads as we rode under it, I believe it’s to stop cars. But after enjoying the gorgeous ride with the scenic mountains and rice fields we were ready for a drink and as such were so glad to be greeted by the lovely owner.

After some gorgeous photos taken and drinks during the day we vowed we’d be back for dinner that night and we sure did. We had fried rice and spring rolls, it was so tasty. This owner is just so lovely and this place is such a hidden gem that I’m writing this review to hopefully promote some more business for him and his family!

What a great place to come across! We were riding our bikes through the area and saw the signs to have coffee with cats and puppies, so of course we had to stop 😍😂 So glad we did. We were too full from breakfast to eat any food unfortunately but we did have the mango smoothie and passionfruit smoothie, both were very delicious. There’s heaps of seating along the water to enjoy the incredible view. There was a litter of cute little puppies but the highlight for us was the two kittens - they were so sweet and cuddly. Amazing restaurant and cafe, truly a hidden gem 💎 The owner is super friendly and cares about his customers. When we visited they also had kittens and puppies as well as a newborn goat which we got to play with. The drinks were amazing and we would love to come back to try the food.

The restaurant itself is really cute with the seating set around a large lily pond. There are lots of plants and animals. It’s a great spot to read a book or just chill for a while.
