Let me tell you, after all this travel, I finally made it to Phan Thiet specifically to try Dung's Herring Rolls. The reputation precedes itself, you know? And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

This place isn't fancy by any means. It's a local joint, full of energy and the delicious aroma of grilling fish. The staff was incredibly friendly, even though my Vietnamese is pretty rough. They helped me navigate the menu and portion sizes (because, let's be honest, I wanted to try everything!).

The star of the show, of course, was the herring rolls. Light, crispy rice paper encasing perfectly seasoned, grilled fish. The fish itself was flaky and flavorful, and the nuoc cham dipping sauce was tangy, sweet, and addictive. Each bite was a perfect explosion of textures and tastes.

Stopped here at random. My first meal in phan thiet. Service was good and fast. I’m not sure exactly what I ate because I let them choose for me. It was spring rolls,herbs,lettuce and other stuff. Đã ghé đây ăn 3 lần, nhưng lần này mới viết đánh giá. ĐIỂM CỘNG: Tổng thể thì quán ăn ngon, đáng để trải nghiệm. Gỏi cuốn cá trích vỏ giòn, nhân cá mềm, ngon Nước chấm đậu: vừa ăn, ngon, kết hợp tròn vị cùng đồ ăn, không đậm đà nhưng cũng không nhạt nhẽo, độ lỏng vừa ăn. Rau ăn kèm bình thường, gồm xà lách và một số loại rau thơm. Bánh bột lọc ngon (hầu hết bánh bột lọc tại Phan Thiết đều ngon, mình chưa ăn trúng chỗ dở bao giờ), nhiều hành phi, hành phi tự làm nên thơm đậm rõ rệt, hành giòn. Gỏi cá trích: 2 lần trước ăn, lần thứ 3 mình không ăn tuy nhiên với khẩu vị của mình thì bình thường, không chê, không khen. Không gian tổng thể của quán ổn, cũng k chen chúc hay nóng nực. Ra món nhanh. ĐIỂM TRỪ: Điểm trừ lớn nhất của quán là ở thái độ phục vụ, 3 lần ghé thì cứ mỗi lần là trừ thêm một lần điểm phục vụ, càng ngày càng tệ thì phải, phục vụ khó chịu, hay nhăn nhó, đặc biệt là chị lớn tuổi, nhiều lúc hỏi k trả lời, bạn nam phục vụ mắt kính tương tự. Chị chủ và con trai (không biết chắc, đoán theo cách cư xử) thì ok. Nem nướng ăn kèm gỏi cuốn cá trích khô, k ngon, giống loại mua sẵn. Chỗ để xe máy thì đầy đủ, tuy nhiên do quán nằm trên mặt đường nên đi xe ô tô sẽ hạn chế chỗ, vẫn ổn không vấn đề quá nghiêm trọng, chỉ...
