Located within the grounds of Melia Ho Tram, the overall decor is really quite stunning and atmospheric. Service from reception was perhaps lacking a little in warmth (I guess you get a bit jaded from serving hundreds of guests), and reservations strongly recommended. Once seated, explanations of the menu etc were done reasonably well, and food came quickly enough, but overall, lacking the final warmth and attentiveness you get in the very best. Food was good and of a high standard, though, prices to match. The downside was the acoustics of the restaurant - voices travelled and echoed throughout, and with the background music, it made for a very tumultuous atmosphere. Wir sind heute im Melia Hotel angekommen und haben aufgrund von guten Bewertungen das moui Restaurant aufgesucht. Wir mussten über 20 Minuten auf Getränke warten und mussten feststellen, dass ein Mangosaft eher nach Zitronenwasser mit Eis und ein Mango Shake nur nach Milch geschmeckt hat. Die Getränke haben wir zurückgehen lassen, weil man sie einfach nicht trinken konnte. (Es schmeckte nach Chemie und Eis). Anschließend bekamen wir das Essen. Ich habe frittierten Reis mit Fisch bestellt, habe aber kein einziges Stückchen Fisch entdecken können. Nachdem wir auch das reklamiert haben, haben wir genau den gleichen Reis zurückbekommen, der nur ein weiteres Mal frittiert wurde. Man sagte uns die Fischstückchen wären so fein, dass man sie nicht sieht (und auch nicht geschmeckt hat!) Das Ganze schmeckte nur nach Öl und Reis. Das Personal war grundsätzlich unaufmerksam und überfordert... ließ das dreckige Geschirr stehen und verstand zum größten Teil kein Wort Englisch. Joined a cooking class at Muoi restaurant, whilst holidaying at Melia Ho Tram resort. Had a fabulous chef HAO who demonstrated how to make Pho Bo- beef noodle soup. HAO was extremely knowledgeable and skilled! A very interactive session where we made our own dish and were able to savour it when cooked....
