Sho Japanese Restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience, blending traditional Japanese culinary art with a modern twist. Situated in a cozy yet elegant space, Sho stands out for its dedication to fresh ingredients, attentive service, and a menu that caters to both purists and adventurous food lovers.

Ambiance

Sho boasts a serene and minimalistic decor with warm wooden accents and subtle lighting, creating an inviting atmosphere. The layout includes an open sushi bar, allowing diners to watch the skilled chefs at work, as well as intimate tables for a more private experience. Whether you’re visiting for a quiet dinner or a special occasion, the ambiance is both comfortable and refined.

Food

The menu is a well-curated mix of classic Japanese dishes and innovative creations. The sushi and sashimi are undoubtedly the highlights—fresh, expertly cut, and beautifully presented. The signature rolls, such as the Sho Special Roll, are packed with bold flavors and creative combinations that appeal to both traditionalists and those looking for something unique.

The hot dishes are equally impressive. The miso black cod melts in your mouth, and the tempura is light, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. For those seeking a hearty option, the ramen is a must-try, with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The dessert menu, featuring items like matcha ice cream and mochi, provides a sweet and satisfying conclusion to the meal.

Service

The service at Sho is impeccable. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations, ensuring that every diner finds something to enjoy. Courses are served promptly and with great attention to detail, reflecting the restaurant’s dedication to excellence.

Value

While Sho is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justify the cost. It’s a place where you get what you pay for—a truly memorable meal.

Final Thoughts

Sho Japanese Restaurant is a gem for anyone who appreciates authentic Japanese cuisine served with a modern flair. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or new to Japanese food, Sho offers something for everyone. It’s an ideal spot for date nights, celebrations, or simply indulging in a high-quality meal. Highly...

We went out to have some sushi with our local vietnamese friends for dinner. The young waitress first to help us was sweet but inexperienced. One of the more seasoned waitress came over to help. We ordered few different type of sushi for our friends to try and we ask our experienced waitress for some suggestions. We have never been to this restaurant and our friends never had sushi before. She started to push for wagyu BBQ. Where we are from one don't eat sushi and BBQ wagyu at the same time. It might be different here, I don't know. It feels like she is trying to up sale than making suggestions to enhance our dinning experience. We just ordered few more different type of sushi and sashimi that are safe for first timers to try.

Our orders came out fast. Sashimi were of quality cuts and sushi were well made with quality ingredients. Our young inexperienced waitress was very attentive. She gave us the space to enjoy our meal but always right on the spot when we needed something.

The setup was classy and other patrons were very respectful. No one was yelling into their phones, kids running wild, loud music blasting. We could speak to each other and have a normal conversation. It was such an enjoyable experience.

Everyone at the table except for me spoke vietnamese. At the end of the meal, our young waitress look at me in the eye and ask how was our meal in vietnamese. Everyone at the table had a good laugh at my deer in the headlight look.

Aside from the pushy waitress who never once smiled, we had fun and a good...

During my recent visit to Quy Nhon, I discovered a hidden gem for Japanese cuisine: SHO Japanese Restaurant. Tucked away in the city, this establishment offers an authentic dining experience that transports you straight to Japan.

The ambiance is serene and inviting, featuring traditional Japanese design elements such as a central koi pond, wooden sliding doors, and bamboo partitions that create intimate dining spaces. The staff is attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The menu is extensive, but the Wagyu Shabu Shabu is a standout and a must-try. The quality of the Wagyu beef is exceptional, providing a melt-in-your-mouth experience that's complemented by fresh vegetables and a flavorful broth.

In addition to the Shabu Shabu, I ordered two ramen dishes and a fried rice. The ramen was rich and satisfying, with a broth that had depth and noodles cooked to perfection. The fried rice was well-seasoned and served as a great accompaniment to the meal.

For those seeking authentic Japanese cuisine in Quy Nhon, SHO Japanese Restaurant is a destination worth visiting. Its combination of quality dishes, traditional ambiance, and excellent service makes it a standout choice for both locals and...
