The only nice thing I can say about this place is the view, but there are 5 other places next-door with the same view.
The food was not very good or fresh tasting. The lobster came drenched in a disgusting garlic cheese sauce despite asking for just butter. It was also impossible to remove from the shell with just chopsticks and cheap metal spoons that bend like the Matrix. They were also dishonest about the price of the lobster. They didn’t list a price for it but squeezed it in next to many things that all cost 180,000dong (7$ USD but also still expensive for food in Vietnam) it turned out to be 700,000 (28$)
We tried to order rice with our meal and they told us it was included with our entrees but it never came despite asking for it a second time. We also ordered a few other dishes that never arrived which was good because I wouldn’t have wanted to eat them after actually trying the food.
The stir fry noodles were also very obviously instant-ramen noodles and tasted like it. (No shade to instant ramen, I just don’t want to pay for it at a restaurant).
I should have looked at the tanks before the meal because half of the things in the tanks looked dead.
There’s so much great food in vietnam but this was by far the worst meal we had. Do...

I was really looking forward to a delicious seafood meal by the sea, but Nhà Hàng Hải Sản Hoàng Nhi Quán turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had.
The food was just terrible. The noodles? They looked and tasted like cheap instant ramen – completely unacceptable for a seafood restaurant. The fish, which should have been the highlight, was so overcooked it was dry, rubbery, and flavorless. For a place that specializes in seafood, you'd expect at least decent cooking, but it felt like no effort was put into the dishes at all.
The service was okay – nothing special, nothing terrible. The staff did their job, but there was no enthusiasm or warmth. At least they got our orders right.
The atmosphere was the only saving grace. Being by the sea made for a beautiful setting, but sadly, a nice view can't fix bad food.
Final verdict? Not worth your time or money. If you care about good seafood, go somewhere else.
⭐️⭐️/5 – One star for the view, one star because the service wasn't a disaster. But the food? A...
Read moreAwful. We ordered three dishes and two drinks. One dish didn't arrive and the other two (steamed grouper and egg fried rice) took over forty minutes to turn up. The fish was overcooked and the egg fried rice was pretty bad. The veg was very obviously frozen and there was no real hint of egg... What was the worst part was they totally conned us. When I asked the price for the fish, the guy said 150,000 VND for 1 kilo (the whole fish) . That sounds pretty reasonable until we came to pay and he insisted it was 550,000 VND for 1 kilo. Which is about £18 (or $23.60 for you Americans) for an overcooked fish, in a shabby beach hut restaurant in Vietnam. I really wouldn't bother stopping here for food. Stop for the view of the beach and the little fishing boats parked up on the beach but definitely don't stop...
