Thọ Quang Restaurant — Restaurant in Uông Bí

Tonight is our first day stay and we had a surprisingly fantastic dinner at Tho Quang Restaurant as part of our half board package. The meal was absolutely delicious from start to finish—generous portions, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. My personal favourite was the fish and rice with soup is always comforting. See menu as attached, and photos of some of the food (some came later and we were too hungry to take photo of all).

We came dressed very casually as we came from the spa, but the staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and made us feel right at home. The service was warm and attentive throughout. While communication could be a little challenging at times, it was never an issue for us. Someone who spoke English was always nearby and happy to assist.

A big thank you to staff Trang and Tham for their kind, attentive and thoughtful service. We really appreciated the extra buns they let us take with us—such a lovely gesture!

There’s something really special about dining at Thọ Quang.

You’re in the middle of nowhere surrounded by stunning architecture, nature and lovely staff attending to your every need.

Tru and his team looked after us every evening through busy and quiet nights of the restaurant and if there was any mishap an apology was there and ready - very attentive. Overall we really appreciated the level of detail we experienced for the 3 nights 4 days we dined here.

Tru even provided recommendations for our next stop in Vietnam which we are beyond grateful for - thank you!

The buffet breakfast team were fantastic and there was everything you could ever need or want - big shout out to the local barista, egg and pancake chef!

The chicken 🐔 and strawberry 🍓 salad 🥗 was excellent. I especially like the dressing they use. Thought the pizza 🍕 could have been a little bit better. The crust was a little bit softer then I like so I should have ordered it well done which I didn't. That would be my fault. Love 💕 the service I got from Em Hạnh. She is so friendly and cheerful and quick to accommodate any needs we had. What a beautiful smile she has too. She can stop the rain 🌧️ and bring sunshine 🌞 to any heart ❤️.
