I always appreciate restaurants that are a bit far from the mall/town fuss. It's a little bit of a drive, but I enjoyed getting to discover this place.

It's quite an interesting spot, I wish I had taken more photos and videos, but it was a little crowded, and I did not want to have a camera in people's faces. I love how clean and simple their aesthetic is. It's not overbearing but just a spot where you can hang out and enjoy your meal with friends, family, or solo.

I was not that impressed with my sandwich. I ordered an avocado and salmon sandwich (as an alternative because they had stopped serving breakfast when I tried to order it at 11:30) it was quite dry. I chose the sandwich and fries, and the fries were just as hard. It was underwhelming for their priciest sandwich to taste like that. Their menu is quite limited. There's not a lot that they have to offer food wise besides the sandwiches/salads/desserts, so it might not be for everyone. I did enjoy the mixed berry smoothie, the chocolate brownie was sweet, and the cappuccino was so good! Those three made up for the sandwich (which I am still going to complain about, rightfully so).

Their service was apathetic. The main waiter assigned to me, left me unattended to countless times and other waiters were helpful but still just as inattentive, I had to keep looking out for someone to help me even with the basic stuff. The whole 3 hours spent here, even after it wasn't as crowded, the service was not great.

They have a good wine and coffee selection that looked interesting. That would be something to...

Beautiful breakfast and lunch spot, popular across social groups. Elevated from the parking so you don't notice you aren't out in a garden, and well isolated from street noise. Great breakfast selection, especially their bacon. Lunch sandwiches are delicious as well, and the artichoke salad (add bacon!) is a real winner. Coffee is good and hot (and takeaway cups are very sturdy). The staff is great and management friendly. Great for young kids or a loungey weekend morning. Closed most Sundays except for the last one of the month. The antique shop is a great diversion while you wait, and you can pick up the week's meat and the butcher...

Highly racist restaurant in Lusaka. Extremely disappointing experience with a group of runners from Lusaka Fitness Squad. Turned up for breakfast but we were not served for over 15 minutes and we eventually left with no action from the staff either. We were all African descent and the restaurant was full of white descent clients who were promptly served and continued to be served promptly. Come on guys why be called Zambean, be located in Zambia and reserve to serve Zambians!! This was appalling and unexpected in 2025. Please do not visit this place if you are dark skinned or African....

Splendid Coffee House. The ambience, despite being located alongside Leopards Hill, is quite tranquil and calming. The Zambean Coffee is perfectly brewed and has a fine balance. It is in fact superior to many imported brews. The food is fresh and affords value for money. Don't forget to visit the antique shop which offers up delightful treats if you'd like to invest in some unique pieces. All in all, 5 star.

Awesome experience almost beyond words! If you have ever sat in a beauitful garden in the warming morning, with a cool breeze, and had a kind waiter bring you your piping hot coffee, then you will instantly see how wonderful this place is! The coffees were perfect and the food was delicious. I can't recommend this Cafe more! Remember to ask about the unlisted specials at lunch!
