Earth Café was done a great job in ensuring that it sticks to it's "earthy" theme with regards to its location, decor and menu. It is nestled 100+ metres off the bustling 12th Ave highway and the vast trees and other greenery ensure it is cushioned from the noise of traffic. The parking area is sizable and has a generous amount of shade, depending on the time of day one visits the place. There is clear direction signage to the café as well. One had the option of indoor or outdoor dining. We went there on Sunday morning for breakfast and were warmly welcomed by our hosts. I was impressed by the foot-press, self-service, sanitising pump by the main entrance as well as sanitisation of furniture (so you're guaranteed to be Covid 19 - safe). Because it was quite chilli, our host lit the heater hot us to ensure we were nice and warm. The general atmosphere, furniture, and decor gives the café an earthy effect and this is also reflected in the formulation of the names of the dishes offered on the menu. The menu has a broad selection of dishes to choose from, including sushi, hence, I'd recommend it for those who would like to challenge their palate to something new. In terms of taste, though, nothing mind blowing. A special thank you to our host, waiter and waitress who ensured we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal. Overall, I'm glad that I tried a new dish, although it is on the pricey side when weighing portion size versus price. Gladly, there's always something new to try out on their menu so do keep an eye out on their Earth Café Facebook page for regular updates. They're open from Wednesday to Sunday.

Food was very tasty, the salads are awesome and the staff very friendly. I only wish I had time to try the eclairs, the carrot cake, the chocolate fudge cake, the lemon meringue, and the grenadilla cheesecake

Great staff, really felt at home with the Earthly theme 😁 The menu is unique filled with rare items (in Bulawayo at least), had poached eggs for the first time.

The food actually tastes ok but I am disappointed with their staff and presentation. Come on I ordered rumpsteak and you served it like hake, I am a chef and that's not it. The food was so dry and the presentation so terrible. We expect much from you guys, you have a big potential. The place is refreshing with nice music, except for some kid that is always skating around the restaurant.

About the staff The guy was good but we expect to be served by one person. You got our orders mixed up because we had to follow up using the waitress that couldn't even pronounce your Spanish burger. She kept on saying spinach burger and I ended up...

This is a clean and well kept restaurant with an "earth" theme as far it's location, decor and menu is concerned. It is shielded from the noise of traffic by vast trees and the decorations in and outside the cafe reflect going green and conservation.Eben the dishes are named to do with the earth crust, little earthlings, inner core, green earth. There is spacious inner and exterior seating areas. However I personally feel the price and the meal portions are mismatched the portions are too small compared to the price be that as it may the restaurant is a must try especially for...
