Dining at Mozambik was a wonderful experience, but what truly made our evening unforgettable was the outstanding service provided by Tinashe. From the moment we were seated, Tinashe greeted us with warmth, professionalism, and a kind of effortless charm that instantly made us feel welcomed.

He was attentive throughout — always present when needed but never intrusive. His deep knowledge of the menu and confident recommendations reflected both passion and expertise. Every dish he suggested was a hit, and his timing and attention to detail were flawless.

What set Tinashe apart was not just his efficiency, but the genuine care he put into his service. Even in a bustling environment, he remained calm, courteous, and consistently gracious. He managed to strike that rare balance between professionalism and personal touch, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.

Mozambik offers a fantastic culinary experience, but having Tinashe as your waiter takes it to another level. His service turned a lovely dinner into a truly memorable occasion. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for...

Further to my first review for those who may have read it before updating here and following contact made by the team from Mozambik after some minor setbacks, Mozambik gave my family and I a second chance and the opportunity to redeem themselves and to be honest, wow!!! Mozambik really went over an above the call of duty delivering an all round Mozambique experience with the taste of Mozambique in a tranquil surrounding near the pool which gives you that feeling of being on holiday in a resort near the ocean.

Our meal last night was to die for, bursting with flavours while the service was once again really good, if not a 100 times better, lead by Manager Bryn. As a whole, every plate was top notch and everyone involved in delivering such an outstanding meal deserves a round of PumPums.

With a safe and exciting play areas for the kids and lots of activities for them to choose from, Mozambik Honeybear becomes our top highly recommended family restaurant to visit.

Well done Guys, I cannot fault the food and service from last night which makes my family and I want to return as soon...

Ordered a hake and chips, came with a tiny portion of chips.. chips were okay, fish was bland and portion sizes completely unsatisfactory for the price, no condiments/no lemon for the fish. Very disappointed. Also ordered piri piri giblets, came cooked to hell and gone so had very little flavour beyond crisp - not in piri piri but some mild flavoured curry sauce. Girls ordered some strawberry daiquiris, seems they use the typical box stuff but tasted very watered down. Chicken kebabs were fantastic but overall a disappointing experience. Expect slow service and lost orders - we had to re order drinks multiple times throughout the evening. On the positive the kid space is really good. Converted tennis court makes for a nice big...

We had a lovely casual dinner at Mozambik. Since it's winter, the heaters spread across the entire space made dining much more comfortable despite the chill. The steaks were juicy and tender (highly recommend!). Between us, we had the Sacana sirloin and the Mozambik steak (fillet), paired with coconut rice, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. Everything was delightful. They also serve hot beverages — I really enjoyed their mocha; it outshines a few others in the game. The reception was warm, and our waitress was friendly, though clearly busier than most, which meant the service wasn't quite the best. Overall, we enjoyed our casual dinner, and I'd definitely recommend Mozambik to a friend.

The environment literally feels like Mozambique, really appreciated the wall art. The service was really efficient, food came in good time. The food was rich in flavors, HOWEVER the quarter chicken was ridiculously small and I was surprised that they didn't serve with a side salad, disappointing. The plate was just bare. For the rump we requested for medium rare but it came well done...it's the little things. The prawns were the hit of the night, highly recommended as well as the coconut rice.

So, after hearing so much for this place, I decided to visit this eatery. They have plenty of parking, front back. I did not have prior booking but thanks to our host waitress, she accommodate us at bar area. We ordered chicken wings and cheese prawn and chicken wings as a snacks. For drinks we ordered virgin mojito and black label beer. For main course we ordered chicken curry with coconut rice. Every thing went smooth , but chicken curry need more exploration.
