I loved visiting your place! The atmosphere is cozy, beautiful, and welcoming, and the food was great. I have a few small suggestions, mostly about the bathrooms, to help make things even better:

Bathroom Cleanliness

Small Sinks: The sinks in the bathrooms are too small. When people wash their hands, water splashes everywhere onto the floor. It's hard to tell if the wet floor is just water or something else, which feels unclean.

Wet Towels: The hand towels were completely wet. Please change the towels more often, or put in a hand dryer instead. People shake the water off their hands when the towels are wet, which just adds to the wet floor problem.

Service The waiters seemed a little distracted, and it was difficult to get their attention when we...

Bishop's Mistress may have a limited menu, but that’s usually a good sign — and in this case, it definitely delivered. The food was excellent. The braised beef shin with the cauliflower and broccoli veg of the day was rich and full of flavor, and the pork belly was equally satisfying — perfectly cooked and well presented.

However, the service left a lot to be desired. The waitstaff came across as unfriendly, and we felt rushed throughout the meal, which took away from an otherwise great dining experience.

If the service matched the quality of the food, this place would be a real standout. Still worth a visit for the food alone, but don’t come expecting warm...

We visited this resto for the first time and enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was nice and staff were friendly.

However, when the bill came, I noticed that the price for the pork knuckle was different from what was shown on the menu. The menu listed it as $20, but the bill charged us $22. When we asked about it, we were told that we were given an old menu by mistake.

The king prawns were also priced at $19 on the old menu, but $23 on the new one. While we didn’t order them, it could’ve been an even bigger issue if we had. Overall, the food was good, but this pricing issue left us feeling a bit uneasy.

I’d recommend confirming prices before ordering to...

Nice first experience at the Bishop’s Mistress for Father’s Day 3 course fixed menu. Their style is nice blend of British Pub food and fine dining. The food was well plated and generally very good. We were very impressed with the serving size of the main, though for $35 each the table did have some minor critiques. They’ve done well with the decor, but the tables are a bit too close together so you are aware of everyone else’s conversions. I’m sure they will continue to improve the garden, and hopefully do something about the busy road that isn’t great for atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try the standard menu and update this review.
