Wonderful — Restaurant in Harare

To be honest, we had wanted to to go Chang Thai next door but availability of family members dictated that we go to Wonderful. It was a delightful surprise. Although the service was not always a 100%, the food was more than satisfactory. Our family loves Chinese restaurants for the ability to pick several dishes to share. Wonderful Restaurant did not disappoint. From starters like the hot and sour soup to the main course of crispy prawns, sweet and sour pork, and sizzling beef, they brought out delectable delights with reasonable breathing space. I usually visit this place for our traditional Sunday Chinese dinner....this particular day the waitrons took time to attend to us, we has to send one of the kids to summon them, upon getting there she was told they would be with us. After some minutes, I got out to go to the bathroom and found the girls by an open area trying on shoes (must have been brought by someone vending). I couldn’t get an aesthetic picture of the fire because it came so far apart that some dishes were finished before the others came out. We ordered beef noodles, chicken fried rice, whole braised fish, sweet and sour chicken, bok choy, vegetables in oyster sauce and tofu in red sauce. We had to return chicken fried rice because the chicken wasn’t cooked… not good. Or waiter forgot some of our drink orders and had to remind her after the food came… the food was very average but I did really enjoy this tofu. Overall wasn’t the best experience but want not...
