So beautiful ๐Ÿ˜, so magical,... so steep to walk up and back to the car lol. Worth the walk, which is a tough when going back to the car, but a short and easy down hill trail to get to. Oh so breathtaking; many professional photographers visit this place, because it is more beautiful than a post card. You really have to be here to take in the magnitude of the carved out rock to the left and the water fall than feeds into a small swimming area, that then goes peacefully back into another littler waterfall. The water is ice cold here all year round, which feels perfect on a hot summer day. It's free to visit, swim, or take pictures. Many people also bring thier fur babies to this adventure. If you are fat, old, have bad knees, or otherwise decrepit the walk back up really takes some work and you will need several breaks as your children breeze past you with ease. Even after all of this, the time had at this waterfall is most definitely worth the struggle of...

This place was my first outdoor experience here in North Carolina and it was such a beautiful first. Stunning waterfall and so easy to get to. This is a lovely hike through some forest area and then a sharp decline of stairs and various lookouts to get to the falls. Going down wasnโ€™t bad, coming back up could be a little challenging for some. We are a family of 9 with kids ages 2-17. Coming back up the 2 yr old rode piggy back about halfway up. The rest of the kids made it up fine. The lookout points make for a nice break area if you need to stop and catch your breath. The falls are gorgeous!! I can only imagine what it looks like in the summer or fall with more foliage. Nonetheless even for the end of January I found it to be breathtaking. Looking forward to exploring the rest...

Jesus Christ did it again. Yet another display of God's beautiful work on full display. This place had fishes ๐ŸŸ Lil Small fishes, ice cold refreshing water. A nice Lil water fall. Plenty of Moss to go around. Enough swimming for the whole family. Grab your spouse and kids and bring them on down to the lower cascades and bring some lemonade, fresh baked cookies and maybe even a couple of them lil miniature sandwiches for a nice old fashioned summer day of relaxation. Come on down and let the Lord Take Care of the Scenery.

Parking is a Lil difficult so come early! Early bird gets...
