Absolutely amazing place. We have been twice already and you can definitely spend an entire day here. It caters to the needs of kids of all ages. I went with my 6 and 2 year old. And there was plenty to do for both. Small playgrounds, big playgrounds, Indio playgrounds (especially when it gets rainy), a little farm, train ride, rides for big kids, merry go round, boat rides, paddle boating etc etc. there is a nice cafeteria as well as little icecream corners. There are benches so you can bring your own picnic. And there are quite a few restrooms for kids and adults. Highly recommend this place!

Went there during the Easter weekend. Lots for kids to do including the Easter hunt, face paint , Easter characters hugging children made it memorable for them. This is one go -to park for me. It has everything , a mini petting zoo, water slides for summer, fiets for big and small kids and many areas to play outdoors and indoors. All seasons are perfect to visit here. A carousel, mini train ride, boat ride , water rides make it for a fairytale like feeling. My toddlers love going there so often so have bought an abonnement for the park otherwise the tickets can be quite expensive.

Fantastic picnic park. A lot of thing to do to keep your kids busy. Adults can have cool time off, sitting under a tree with books, take a walk between animals, water park to play with your kids. Truly a fun day to remember. 10 to 7 is the time. Parking fill quickly. Come prepared. Picnic trolleys are handy. Kids stroller as well. Food restaurants are inside, but bring some along if you don't get a chance to get something quickly or if you are in the middle of the pool. Fries, icecreams, sandwiches and pancakes are available in the restaurants.

Scottish family hit Rotterdam. Its hard to get used to how family friendly and tourist friendly the Dutch are. Our second visit in 18 months as it was so great the first time. Plaswijckpark is intended for the natives (no English map). Its a little trek by tram as it's beyond the tourist zone. Best part of 50 euros to get 4 of us in. I was a little underwhelmed. Its a big play park. Petting zoo style place. Big go kart area (pedal). Sedate boat ride. Wasn't expecting my kids to go rafting....

This is a kiddies park with a nostalgia from the old days. Its over 100 years old and is so much fun for both young and old. Make sure to pick a sunny day. Lots of nature which is so important to expose the kids to nowadays! Also lots of fun oldfasion rides that the kids love! There are no big fast crazy flinging rides, just nice and simple. They have a sort of traffic ride system ride, where the kids drive around in a iron 4 wheel paddle bike. They 'have' to stop at the traffic lights, go...

A must visit if you have children and live anywhere near Rotterdam. Not only do they have extensive outdoor activities and play areas for kids of all ages, but they also have a nice small zoo. During warmer months there are organized activities and during the winter there are still great indoor play areas.
