This was the coolest winery we went to! (And we went to 3 the day before on a bike tour). It was recommended to us by our bnb owner and it was right in downtown lujan de cuyo. We walked in without a reservation and was happily greeted by the wine maker who gave us a full hour and a half tour. We were able to see and taste the wine at each step of the process: starting with grapes, grape juice, a few hours in a steel tank, a few days in a cement tank, 3 weeks in a cement tank, 22 months in a French oak barrel and finally a bottle. It was so cool to see how the wine changed with each step. The winery is also the certified organic and vegan winery in its area! Along with lots of wine, they produce a vermouth and beers which are made with the same ingredient that make champagne fizzy! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They also have fantastic sandwiches available! If you’re thinking about it 100000% do this tour.

We spent 10 days in Chacras touring numerous wineries. Each had something a little different to offer and Bodega Pulmary was no exception. It is a very small family run winery. Our tour was fairly short (as it is small) but interesting. This was the first tour we did where we tasted right out of the concrete tank then out of the barrel. It was interesting to taste the difference from the young wine (tank) to the aged barrel wine. We also had the opportunity to sample beer from their brewery. It was quite delicious. We liked it so much we bought a bottle to enjoy in their garden. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, this is a great spot. Reservations were not required!

Amazing experience staying in a real working bodega. Ramiro is a great host so friendly and super helpful. He couldn’t do enough for his guests, booking taxis, restaurant recommendations etc. Staying in a working bodega was such a treat too. The bed was the most comfortable I had in Argentina and the rooms were spacious. The only downside was that this was in Ramiro’s house and I felt a little like was intruding (probably only as I’m British though). All in all I highly recommend and would definitely like to go back. I should also add that the tasting/wine tour was the only one I had where you tried wine throughout the process.

We were looking for a great boutique winery in a superb location with an amazing host and we found it all at Pulmary with Ramiro. The wines are superb, he is the most kind and caring host and the location at the edge of the town square of Chacras de Coria is unbeatable. The rooms were perfect and spotlessly clean, his reccomendations were spot on for delicious food and his tour of the winery was fascinating and informative even though we have been to many wine tastings before. We spent 5 glorious days there. Ramiro and Augustina really go the extra mile. When my filling fell out over dinner at 10pm, I whatsupped Ramiro, asking if he could recommend a local dentist for the next day. 30 minutes later he wrote back asking if 11 am was good for us. The next day Augustina insisted on driving us there and helping translate while we were there. The dentist was excellent and repaired the tooth permanently for a very reasonable rate. She then dropped us off at a winery so we could enjoy the rest of our last day there. We were truly sad to leave Ramiro, Augustina and Diana. Not to mention the delicious wine and beer they produce. Ramiro brews his beer using a champagne method and it's delicious. We did not visit a lot of wineries because we felt we were already tasting the best and just wanted to keep drinking it. You will be very happy and relaxed at this wonderful winery and we hope to come back...

Bodega Pulmary and their head wine maker Ramiro Maures represent something spectacular. They're at the confluence of great winemaking and tradition, offering an impressive and remarkable experience which introduces wine drinkers to the land, the terroir, and the wine making process in an engaging and enthusiastic manner. Ramiro, the head winemaker, in particular is ripe with passionate energy that captures the energy of the wine and the region. If you have a chance to go to this winery, to buy this wine, and to speak to this winemaker, do it. It was and is an unforgettable experience with some of the most intensely passionate and emotionally spirited people who care about crafting excellence. Buy the wine, meet the people and go to this winery, it is not...
