El Mercadito — Restaurant in Distrito Chacras de Coria

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, our experience was VERY disappointing.

My boyfriend and I ordered at 7:45pm (early dinner for Argentine+ only two other tables seated), and it took over an hour for our food to arrive. During that time, no one checked on us or provided any updates. About 45 minutes in, we got up to ask about our order, and someone asked us to repeat it. Shortly after, our waiter informed us they had to fix the fryer, but this lack of communication could have been handled much better.

By the time our food finally arrived, it was cold. The milanesa was not fresh from the fryer, and the french fries were also cold. My veggie dish was also cold...To make matters worse, our waiter didn’t check on us after the food was served, so we didn’t get the chance to mention the issue until she came by much later when we searched for her to bring our check... When we finally told her, she simply apologized, saying, “Sorry you had a bad experience.” No effort was made to remedy the situation—no offer of a coffee or a simple dessert to make up for it, just nothing.

Overall, this experience left us feeling frustrated, couldn't believe they had a full restaurante as we left at 10... A little communication and effort could have gone a long way to improve what turned out to be a very disappointing visit.. and it...

Food is good, but the service is so awkward. We had quite a bad experience. We came once, at 5:30pm. Were told the kitchen opens at 6pm by one waiter. We wait until 6:30pm at which point another waiter told us the kitchen opens at 8pm. So we left. The next time we cam for dinner and: they brought us a completely wrong dish. We ordered the pork steak. They brought us the beef sandwich. What?! I had to ask for cutlery after they didn’t bring it for a while after the meal. They brought me a dessert fork… my partner ordered tea, which never arrived. they had like 5 waiters and only 3 tables with customers and we had to wait so much time to be served and actually every time call a waiter specifically

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The food is amazing ! Ive been told the fish in argentina isn't great, but i have been here twice and had 2 different sea food dishes and both have been delicious!

The atmosphere emmersed in majestic tree's just makes it even more magical !

All the staff are very friendly! Reservations were easy to make, with quick responses from whatsapp.
