We got there early in the morning as we had a night flight and they offered us a room right away with no extra charge. ||||The food was served in a lovely orchard in front of the house and oh my god it was really delicious with armenian flavour, everything was fresh from local ingredients and abundant. Lunch here was included in a trip we made, and it was superb. We were shown how lavash is made and then ate it fresh with wonderful barbecued meat, salads, cheese, etc, etc, The very best of home-cooked Armenian food washed down with local wine and also some home-made alcoholic beverages - all delicious and very generous portions. I arrived Chez Yvette after a long drive from Goris. I was the only guest and was asked if I wanted dinner, I said yes, expecting maybe a light meal. At the agreed time I went to the dinning room.
