Machanents Tourism & Art — Attraction in Vagharshapat

My family stayed in Machanents Tourism & Art for one week at the beginning of April 2017. It's in a great location in the holy city of Edjmeadzin, where all the sightseeings located nearby. It takes about 30 min to the capital of Armenia, Yerevan as well. The national cuisine in the Machanents guest house was fantastic. We have tried a great variety of endemic dishes which are suitable for vegetarians as well. Additionally, this place is all about the amazing vibe, created by passionate people who work there, who try their best to provide tourists with thought-provoking insights about their customs and history. For example, we got an opportunity to cook by ourselves the national sweets called Shaqar Choraki, we also tasted home made wine, cheese and what not. Staff members at this place are extremely helpful, warm welcoming and friendly. We are very thankful to Narine, who was our guide for the whole trip in Armenia for making this experience as pleasurable as possible. Moreover, we enjoyed the background music in the car, while we were travelling around our points of destination. We fully enjoyed the musical taste of Arthur, our driver. Would definitely stay here again and again, a great value with the creative atmosphere, wich is the top priority for my family and me. We wish all the best to this country, this touristic venue...

From my experience of visiting restaurants this was one of the most impressive and magnificent. My friends and I spent about 6 hours here and every minute was magnificent. The tour explained a lot about this place and it became clear that Machanents is not just an artist but also a great person full of ideas. I think this is one of the places you should definitely go when you come to Armenia. And I want to especially emphasize that the beautiful and kind staff made our vacation truly wonderful. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere! Very nice and antic decoration, you feel yourself in open air Museum. The whole staff is very child friendly. There are children activities like pottery and lavash baking. The staff in pottery and lavash activities are very friendly and nice. The guide Mher was very helpful. The food was really tasty.
