What an exceptional restaurant in an exceptional ancient setting. The atmosphere and music takes you back to another time. The owner and chef is passionate about his dishes and recommended two outstanding dishes for us. One an ancient lamb soaked in pomegranate juice recipe and another, soft succulunt beef in a local herb. The food was the best we have had in Armenia so far and that says allot. The prices were absolutely reasonable and the service was good and friendly. We will come back just...

Nothing good besides amazing location with Ararat view from the terrace. Bird portions, horrible(!!!) service (a first in Armenia really, so I’d say they had to really try hard to be THAT bad), bathrooms are just very sad (clean but i haven’t seen such bathrooms anywhere besides old country clubs in villages). So my advice would be - just take a coffee on the terrace to enjoy the view and be done with this place. Which is very sad as if done well they could both make more money and make...

Terrible service and terrible food. Observing around I heard same comments... Food is not arrived, is not as it's written...Don't order the "historical" chicken plate, it's a scam: a fruit salad with tasteless chicken. Where is the sauce? And I seriously doubt its historical origins... Potatoes and soup were also not good. And it's not cheap!!Pity, the place is actually...

We waited for half an hour for the waitstaff to attend to us. They were just walking around or standing there. There were plenty of them, but they ignored us completely. We had to take the menu ourselves, and the prices here are exorbitant and do not match the service at all. Overall, I do not recommend this place. Visit at your own risk!
