Machanents Guest House — Hotel in Vagharshapat

Machanents is a place you HAVE to experience at least once! its a complex rather than a hotel and the hotel is situated at the back of the property near the art gallery and restaurant area - the rooms are all different with wooden furtniture and created by artists and with artwork on the toilet doors, its comfy place to stay ||The owner Narine is just amazing! she gave me a 2 hour tour around the whole complex, they help children learn to be creative with pottery, art, IT, AI and other things, they really help the community that's what I love about Armenians its just such a nice feel and vibe and locals and tourists alike are always here at the restaurant or the tavern and shopping at the little shop there, they make their own wine which is just absolutely so tasty!! ||They are also well known for their restaurant and their food that they serve which is local food and so tasty!||so yeah, in other words DONT MISS OUT on...

No words can describe this place. Just try to be there at least once. Great place for adults and kids. It is an art center with creative guys. 90% of the souvenirs in their shop is made there by the staff and you can also see how they are doing it. Your kids can study there. They have many different master classes as well. And of course you should visit their restaurant at least once. Even if you are not hungry just try to have a tea or coffee there with a piece of cake. You will fall in love...

In 10 days in Armenia this was the best place we found and even the price was ok. All made with love, nice people, nice design, good food. I definitively recommend to stay here in Ejmiatsin and not in Yerevan when you are in this region. If you want to visit Yerevan you can get there easily by bus in half an hour but it's better to sleep in Ejmjatsin, prices are lower and anyway in Yerevan we paid the double price for a horrible hostel, nothing to compare...
