First time having a go at archery with the family.

Before heading on the the course, a waiver is needed for all participants (recommend doing this via their website prior to arriving as this will speed up the 'check-in') and there is also a training/practise session included. The staff were friendly throughout and I appreciate they were very patient with my 2 children (8 and 9 years old) and helped my wife with trying out 3 bows before finding one which suited her.

Both 5 and 10 target course options are good (10 course is shaded under trees but get the sense there can be quite a few mosquitos about - we went with the 5 target course and weren't too affected by the sun as we there in the morning shortly after opening and no mossies to report).

Everyone had a very good time, and we were back for a second session the day after (25% discount on the second session was a bonus).

Would go back...

WHAT A GEM! Primal Archery is one of those finds you can’t believe you haven’t been to yet. Near to both Busselton and Dunsborough with masses of lawn for kids to run around, 6 and up can learn archery safely taught by local owner Cassie (great name!) and her team. What I liked the most is it something the whole family can do together. It would be easy to spend half a day here with a larger group as the grounds has the ideal set up for families to all meet up. There was a birthday party with marquee/picnic table when I went today and bonus mini golf course, totally fine for winter as you could easily duck under cover if it really poured. The kids loved it - thank you...

We arrived at Busselton Archery & found the staff to be very friendly. The training/practice session was very thorough & reassuring for us all, as it was our first time. Our 2 girls, aged 9 & 11 are really looking forward to doing archery again as it was a really positive experience & loads of awesome fun !! The archery course is setout in the shade of peppermint trees so we were shaded from the sun & the course was well spaced out with plenty of time to play our own game. We then played mini golf after having lunch under the shady trees on the lawn, which we enjoyed so much we will definitely go back again on our next holiday. Great way to spend a few hours...

Saw this place on our drive down south and decided to give it a try despite having absolutely zero experience at archery. The opening hours are quite limited being only open from Friday to Sunday so do check ahead of time if they're open as they may also be closed due to bad weather. The staff was amazing, gave good clear guidance and training and we went on shooting targets in no time. We got the plan with 3 arrows per target with 10 targets to go through. It's hard to hit consistently but it's still fun and we had a good laugh at those that went way off. Tips: there is a little gift if you approach the staff after you read your rules!

Been there for archery and loved it! Great value, only $15 pp. The course has 9 aim stages and it's just the right amount for a very fun experience. There's a bench to sit in each one while you wait for your turn and enough shade from trees. I love that behind us there's an open field which means almost no insects around! The staff lady is lovely and so helpful teaching how to shoot. Arch and arrows in very good condition. I know the park offers mini golf and kart too but i haven't used those services to be able to review them. Oh, Amelia Lodge tavern is right behind the park, 2 min by car, i recommend it for lunch after playing.

Good experience, have done it before in Perth and this was a nice little area to practice while on holiday. Got a 25% discount for bringing own equipment as well which was nice. The people here were also very friendly and helpful. The regular targets were set out at what feels like 10m and there's also a 20m challenge shoot with $15 entry fee and cash prizes for top 3 scores that runs every quarter. One bit of feedback would be to either remove the shade sails over some of the targets or tie them higher up, as I noticed they obstructed people drawing the bow in some cases.
