St Kilda Adventure playground is out of this world! It is a massive playground with so many play equipment that can cater to kids and kids at heart. It boasts of the tallest, castle slide which is truly a representation of the St. Kilda Adventure Playground. It has 2 kinds of flying fox a big and small one. Several swings, monkey Bar net equipment, see saw, several slides and a mobility swing. The playground has a huge grassy area and equipment is on soft sandy soil The park is filled with covered seating areas with BBQ facilities. It has a toilet area, water fountain and designated place where you can bring your pets. It also has a beautiful old 3 level wooden ship with wooden cannons looking over the water.which is part of the mangrove trail if you wish to follow the path. The playground has ample parking areas however if it gets full there is a large parking area next to the boat ramp which also is also 24hour campground. Overnight RV parking is $8 non concession and $6 for concession per night. There is a Bait Shop called Tackle and Tucker where you pay your fee, they also serve fish and chips, cold drinks and fishing items. They have a dump point with bore water faucet next to it. The parking lot is flat loose gravel bitumen, quiet and we'll lighted at night. There is a toilet block next to it that locks at night time as well as the boom gates...

Great playground for kids of all sizes. My first impression was “Wow!” The sheer size and variety of activities combined with BBQ and seating areas make this a destination attraction. There are many attractions - a huge castle with slides and a draw bridge, a bouncy boomerang, flying fox, pirate ship, a large Volcano with multiple slides, a basketball court, swings and more. Nearly missed to mention the Yellow Submarine.

The paths, of natural materials, wind around the playground interconnecting all available activities. The higher activities, the castle and the volcano slides, provide magnificent views of the adjacent mangroves and across the waters to Torrens Island and beyond. Whether the wish is to climb, jump, fly, slide, spin around or rock, there is an activity that is suited and in some cases enables combinations. It was about 25 minutes from Adelaide Westlakes, easy drive lots of parking and it was not busy on a Friday. The only thing I think is that on a hot day the slides are made of metal and must get very hot and maybe impossible to play. But there is other options too. There are shades for bbq area with tables but not many trees or natural shade so if you are thinking of sitting by the grass the grass is limited and with no shades. The St Kilda hotel is right behind the park if you want to grab a cold one after the kids...

It is by far the best playground we’ve ever went to. It is not just only for kids but also for kids at heart. The kids would love it more because parents can join them in these massive slides. There are variety of slides, rides, and adventure activities. There are slides as high as the mountain, where adventurous kids would love. On the other part of the playground, another set of spiral slides for more thrilling and fun experience. Additionally, for small kids who are still scared to go in the slide, they can opt to play at the kiddie/submarine playground which the kids would love to. They can also play in the sand or in the swing if they want to.

Another plus point is that the park is by the beach, you can go to the pirate ship for a change of scenery or to just take pictures. Just be careful enough especially with little kids during high tide.

There are also a lot of picnic tables, as well as covered ones. Parking and toilet rooms are also adequate for the playground’s visitors. Just make sure to bring sunscreen, water, and food especially this summer. We didn’t see any restaurants or stores that is very near to the playground, so make sure to bring your own food. Also, the playground is not open 24/7, so always make sure to check the website’s update.

Lastly, have fun and create beautiful memories with your kids,...
