Some of the marsh walk was unavailable but it was still great to be able to walk through the marsh. In comfort. Later on we went to the playground and I was stunned to see trees growing in the sea. There's lots of little fishing boats and other attractions. I'm not sure how much it costs to go to the marsh but everything else is free. There's a pub nearby that serves meals. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and its a great destination especially for families on a budget. Even fuel costs are low because you travel by freeway almost...

A large section of the trail was closed, the visitor centre was unattended and starting to look run down, a fairly recent incident of pollution from a neighbouring business had caused significant dieback of the mangroves. It was very disappointing especially after being a frequent visitor in the past. The only good thing was seeing the regenerating young plants. It was free to enter but I would have been more than happy to pay an entry fee to see it in...

Still unable to access full loop due to boardwalk needing repair but we still thought it was ok & scenic. I went with my 3yr old son and as the forest turned green, parts of the walk got a little slippery so hold little ones hands and get them to slow down. Some pretty spots hidden throughout and could see small fish swimming in the shallow waters which my son loved. Toilets available near...

Some pretty spots hidden throughout and could see small fish swimming in the shallow waters which my son loved. Toilets available near main entrance.

This is a very special mangrove forest on the offshore marsh. It usually closes at 4pm. For access gate keys are available from Trackle and Tucker Kiosk. It is about 600 meters away from the entrance of the Mangrove Trail. It is best to carry anti-mosquito items before going in, because there will be many mosquitoes inside. The parking lot is near the entrance. A beautiful pink lake is next to it.

An amazing place that will not disappoint you. Tips 1: You need to go to a convenience store near the playground to get a pass before you enter. Tips 2: Although there are no flies, there are many mosquitoes, so pay attention to mosquito prevention. Tips 3: Only the first half can be visited. You can no longer walk from the small house. The whole journey takes about 30 minutes.
