St Kilda Mangrove Trail — Attraction in Adelaide

Some of the marsh walk was unavailable but it was still great to be able to walk through the marsh. In comfort. Later on we went to the playground and I was stunned to see trees growing in the sea. There's lots of little fishing boats and other attractions. I'm not sure how much it costs to go to the marsh but everything else is free. There's a pub nearby that serves meals. A large section of the trail was closed, the visitor centre was unattended and starting to look run down, a fairly recent incident of pollution from a neighbouring business had caused significant dieback of the mangroves. It was very disappointing especially after being a frequent visitor in the past. The only good thing was seeing the regenerating young plants. Still unable to access full loop due to boardwalk needing repair but we still thought it was ok & scenic. I went with my 3yr old son and as the forest turned green, parts of the walk got a little slippery so hold little ones hands and get them to slow down.
