I remembered these gardens to be beautiful, lush and peaceful. Lovely place to walk your furbaby & sit and reflect to the sound of a running waterfall......until yesterday. I wanted to take my new furbaby where his "big bro" used to frolick...I was shocked and saddened by the neglected state of the gardens. Not only were they not disability inclusive/friendly, but the ponds for waterfall were green, dirty & chock-o-block with leaves but the garden beds were totally void of the many beautiful roses, plants and lush greenery that made it so sensory and relaxing. The old Bonsai trees were still standing....just...but looked tired and uncared for. One thing going for it was some areas of green grass but not much else! What has happened PAE Council?? You don't care anymore? Even the pathways are just steep dirt areas with some logs that lead nowhere (except to steep drops)....it's really really sad that what was once a beautiful, sensory, peaceful and stunning garden haven in the middle of suburbia...has deteriorated to such a state! I'm sure there's been a big decline in wedding bookings too! Spend some $ and...

For a moment, it was genuinely unclear whether this was a random assault or a medical emergency, and it was distressing for everyone present—especially babies.
We fully understand and support inclusive community practices, particularly for people living with mental health conditions. However, we believe public safety should be managed with clear accountability, especially in shared public spaces...
Read moreA beautiful park with lovely gardens, lawns and picnic area. A bonus is that it borders the Dry Creek Linear Park which is well worth the really interesting walk towards Walkleys Road, through creek-side vegetation, historical landmarks and lots of birds. A major disadvantage of any visit to this park is the lack of toilet facilities. The toilet buildings are open only for those who book a function in the park. This is a big drawback for family gatherings in this lovely park. I therefore must give...
