Arboretum Bicentennial Park is one of the many parks in Armidale, NSW. It is just about 1-2 km from the centre of the town. The park is a an excellent spot for picnicking and taking children for a recreational outing. It is also a nice spot for short walks with a gentle sloping footpath leading to a small clear lake built within the park. A variety of trees such as the poplar, pin oak, golden ash and cherry plum amongst others provide shady areas to sit and relax. The place could really use an upgrade to the public toilets and more regular garbage pickup.
