Moxons Bakery — Restaurant in Armidale

Was told when I moved here that this bakery had the best quality items for sale but I’m now sure that’s just local propaganda, I have worked as a baker and pastry chef in one of the greatest bakery’s in yamba! And I’m am quite disappointed, the pastry is wet the meat is dry and the filling is limited and that’s just a start, there puff is flat and there cakes are dry and tasteless, and to top it all off, some of the rudest employees so I can’t imagine the owners…. We ordered our wedding cake from Moxons Bakery. Zoe and her team were excellent ! Their options are extensive and extremely well priced! We ordered a double layer marble cake, and the team delivered the most incredible cake. Not only did it taste delicious and so fresh, it looked so beautiful and elegant, exactly what i asked for! We dropped in as it was the nearest bakery on our drive from Dubbo to Surfer’s Paradise and the fact it was in an industrial area made me a bit dubious but it was a great decision- the classic bakery choices were all there and we were all overwhelmed by choice & everything was wonderful- I was pleasantly surprised by price and quality- I wish we lived nearer!
