Missingham Park — Attraction in Ballina

Clean, well appointed and with very pleasant views, this park is well worth a stop off if you're either in the area and want a nice place to visit for a relaxing stop, alone or with the family. There is very good pathways along the river that allow for a great little walk and the park has well appointed toilets and benches for picnics. Even on a VERY windy and slightly rainy day, this was a fantastic place to stop for lunch with the kids as we explored Ballina & Lennox Head etc. Google reviews were the reason we chose to stop here as most rated it highly! Dog friendly (on leash) park & shoreline was a bonus for our pups. Skate park, playground, picnic tables, seating & toilets - all right on the Richmond River overlooking the heads at Ballina. This is a very nice spot. Large open area backing onto north creek water and large shade trees sprawled about with seating,bbqs and covered eating tables and seats. Close to skate park and missigham bridge which will take your to Shaws Bay hotel for a cold beer. Highly...
