Bathurst Adventure Playground — Attraction in Bathurst

We adore this playground, they have really made it well. My boys are 2 & 4 now & though the 2 year old needs some help getting onto things, my 4 year old does it all himself & even if he falls, the shortfall around the swings & slides is perfect, never hurts him. So much to see with the sand, dinosaur footprints to jump in, dinosaur to sit on & pat, rockwall, maze, flying foxes, disability swing & flying fox is also great for my friends with kids who need that, great little bridges at the edge of the park near the gutter where we park, lots of bins & places to sit. Toilets close by & are always clean (whenever we've been). Our favourite park by far. Can get crowded. We try to go on school days of a morning & not in the holidays...

What a fantastic place to picnic with a lovely lunch, or a birthday party 🎉. Gas BBQs free to use, must clean up when leaving for the next person to enjoy. Dinosaur Park for the kids to play. Swings, Slides & Slippery Dip, Monkey Bars, Climbing Wall, Rope Net Climbs soft safe ground for kids to bounce back after a fall. Shady Trees, nicely manicured lawns and gardens. Water taps available. Under cover Tables and Bench Seats. Good parking around periphery of park. Nice clean toilets incl disabled. Many thanks to Bathurst Council, and it's citizenry for making this great fun & meeting place available to all. This could be a Benchmark for other Councils to consider. Bloody well...

What a wonderful playground! Our kids loved the rope climbing and slides. The dinosaur theme is really fun with replica fossils, dinosaur footprints and model dinosaurs featured in the landscaping.

Toilets are basic with no soap or hand dryers, but clean and functional. There is also a water fountain for refilling drink bottles, and plenty of grass, benches, and...
