19 of us did 3 days at the Heritage Inn on our way to Vic from Qld and I can say my husband and I enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious, bathroom was small and had the toilet in it as well so if you had to go to the toilet while someone was showering you had to hand on.. Our room had bench with microwave on it and bar fridge under it outside the bathroom (not in the main room where the bed, lounge and table is). To fill the kettle you had to use the bathroom sink which was awkward to fill because it was just was too big, but we managed. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. There was a smart tv. Rooms were serviced daily if you wanted it. There’s a guest laundry/dryer which is free but the cleaning clothes do get washed in the same washing machine if you’re not comfortable with that. Smoking area has a bbq. There’s lots of bins but the one near our room was full for the duration of our stay. The restaurant to have breakfast was very small and we thought $15 for a continental breakfast (instant coffee and tea is complimentary) is was too expensive as we don’t eat cereal or yoghurt so two pieces of toast with Vegemite was $15 daily. I would never pay that but it was part of the package we were sold by Group Link Travel and we weren’t offered to opt out of having it. So 3 days of breakfast for one person = 6 pieces of toast with Vegemite cost $45! We were getting fully cooked buffet breakfasts at some of our other accommodations for $20 so not sure why a continental breakfast is so expensive. Anyone other than that we really loved our stay the grounds were kept very clean it was walking distance to town and the RSL and other restaurants. Parking outside your room (not undercover) but some did very limited. Didn’t see a pool so don’t think there is one. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again but wouldn’t pay for breakfast as there are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby where you can get a lovely cooked...
Read moreMy wife and I were completing a short break driving around the Central Tablelands with our last night in Bathurst (Saturday) before heading home to Sydney. We booked our room with a bath, online, earlier in the day. We arrived on time in the afternoon and we given a room with only a shower, and I immediately returned to reception and was given a key to the correct room. I returned to reception again to report a very wet floor in the bathroom that was flooded before we used the bathroom. After further examination, we determined that the previous occupier of the room had not used the shower curtain in the correct way and there was nothing wrong with the plumbing in the room. The reception staff provided us with some towels and we soaked up the water with the towels. We had no further issues with the bathroom during our stay. I also returned to the reception to ask about breakfast options and was told about the breakfast room at the motel. After discussing the matter with my wife, we decided we would like the breakfast option and I walked back to reception and booked a time for our breakfast. All of those visits to reception were a pleasure to deal with the warm, friendly and helpful staff who were on duty that evening. Our room was on the ground floor of the main building. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot and there wasn't so much noise from passing trucks, the room being located a bit back from the road. The continental breakfast was plentiful and covered all the items we enjoy at home, including fruits, cereal, toast and condiments and hot tea. We are not people who leave with the sunrise, and we found most people had left by the time we came back from breakfast. We had a very enjoyable dinner at the Bathurst RSL on Saturday night and it was easy to walk just one block back to the motel, after dinner. The location of this motel is superb and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly...

Vanity light switch faulty and not working. The tacstic heating globe blown. Reported to supervisor on leaving she would investigate and what I want her to do, I said let me know but not happy about having to pay premium price which was 60% above the normal saturday rate! She said would talk to manager and ring me by Thursday. After two weeks later no call! I rang then was asked what I want I said our rate to at least to be dropped to the normal Saturday rate for that period. Said she would discuss with owner. Ran me back said no consideration to us as they didn’t know about issues at time! As a Probus committee member I know where I won’t be...
