This is such a clever and striking piece of art, I’m surprised we don’t see similar ones in other places. Found in Geraldton’s lovely oceanside park, this massive glass ball reveals a fascinating upside-down view of the living seascape behind it. It is in the center of an elevated walled enclosure, which raises it to eye level and protects it from harm. The view through the ball is particularly beautiful at sunset, when throngs of people come to peer through it and, unfortunately, take their inevitable selfies.

There isn't a whole lot to say about it. It is a sphere with 1800 L of water and it inverts the image on the other side from what you would normally see.
