Nesuto Geraldton Apartment Hotel — Hotel in Beresford

Worst service ever! We stayed there two nights during our trip, both nights "enjoyed" their horrible guest service, it was the worst ever, and please tell all your families and friends don't go to there while you stay in Geraldton.

First night when we arrived, we collected keys and paid deposit through the self check-in machine, then the keys dropped, to be honest, I like that system, but it would be nice to have some instructions send to our email regarding how to use that machine, cause it took us a while to find it out. After we get our card key and open the door, we insert the card key into the place to let the room get electricity. However, after we done this, we still couldn't turn on the light, it just flashing and then off. In front of us is a stair way and the rooms are all upstairs, we are not quite sure if there is something wrong with that light in stair way, or something wrong with the card key, which might not get the electricity so the light couldn't turning on. Luckily our friends who traveled with us stayed in another room, so my families stayed in front of our room and I just go to my friends room call the service line for help. Someone took the phone and agreed to come and help us, I also came back to my room and wait for help, while we are waiting, I carefully climbed the stairs to the 1st floor using my phone light, and it appears the light on upstairs are working, just the one at the entrance not working, at that moment, there is a man came to our room with a new key, I tried to explained what happened to him, but he just left the key and one sentence to me "You call me for this? It is not an emergency!" Then he turn his back on us and left! So we are supposed to get the room have no lights at the entrance without any notice? And we are deserve to climbed the stairs in the dark? Because it is not something emergency, we should only call him if our kids failing from the stairs and crying in kthe dark! Otherwise he just don't care!

The second night was even worse! We booked for two rooms again, but when we arrived, the machine only dropped one of the keys, I tried so many times it still not work, it left me with no choice but call that annoying service line again!!! Same person came to gave us the keys, same bad altitude, I told him I didn't receive text message like last time, he claimed he had send it anyway, I smelt strong alcohol while he talking to me, and after all, he told me if next time we pass geraldton, don't came back again! Sure, we won't! We...

Pros: (Room 173) Good value for groups Very clean (didn't have any bad smells like other reviewers mentioned) More spacious than I expected Nice clean modern bathroom and shower, good water pressure and hot water Shower amenities did smell nice :) Easy check-in, we arrived after hours and checked in using the kiosk outside reception (tap to pay), an envelope dropped out of the vending machine with keys and instructions etc. Aircon in the bedrooms Cons: Very uncomfortable beds - it felt like touching bare springs. For me it wasn't as bad once I was fully lying down, but other people in my group had a very uncomfortable sleep. The most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on (uneven, zero support, wobbly cushions) Found a small dead fly on the bed linen (but everything else was very clean) No duvet, only a top sheet and a thin piece of material that looked like a quilt cover (but no quilt). There was an additional furry blanket thing in the cupboard though. No soundproofing, you can clearly hear the neighbours downstairs etc.

Overall not bad and I'd still stay there again for the price. Clean rooms and nice bathroom are my main priorities and Nesuto...

We were very lucky to secure a Pet Friendly Apartment here for just over a week as our caravan needed urgent repairs on one of the wheels while we are travelling around OZ from Qld . David and Lindsay we’re so accomodating for us to stay in one spot instead of having to move several times. They are both very friendly and professional in their manner. The unit is very comfortable, great bed and large bathroom . Mornings we would be welcomed by Denise in the Breakfast Room were we would sit in the outside dining section with our 2 dogs and nothing was a problem for Denise to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Gwen and all the cleaning/garden staff are all so lovely. Location of the Apartment being approx 100 mtr from the walking tracks and the beach was perfect for toilet walks for the girls (there is a fake turf courtyard off the lounge area if your dog needed a emergency toilet break) . The kitchen has a bar fridge and microwave. Very good washing machine and dryer. There is a lovely pool and heated spa also in the complex.
