Take the kids, this is a great place if the weather is good. There are two pools, a smaller shallow wading pool and a much deeper and larger pool which is a fantastic place to teach kids snorkeling. There is a amazing veriety of small safe and fascinating sea creachers to see within the large pool while still being able to keep a close watch of the young ones from within the water or from out of the water along the side. There is a great area with seating and some picnic tables available, and a shower is located on the stairs. There are ver6 clean and well maintained toilet and shower facilities located in the park adjacent to the carpark. There is disable parking next to the ameneties which are also wheelchair friendly. However the decent to the pool is down many many stairs and unfortunately this is the only safe way to or...

What a gorgeous ocean pool!! So glad I got to check it out on a nice day! A bunch of well maintained stairs to get down to the pool (over 45 steps..), and then back up to the carpark. Great steps to get in and out of the pool too (not too much moss/slime on them). Toilets are accessible, but up at the carpark level. The water is still quite fresh in early January, but it's now super clear after a few rough and dreary days. Some fish and crabs about the pool. Lots of seals to watch either from the right of the stair case, and today we saw 3 seals trying to hang out on the rocks to the right of the kiddy pool (unsuccessfully though, as the waves were hectic and they had to abort mission!). Then some dolphins swum by....

There is a car park at the top of the cliff along with toilets and changing area. It is not suitable for caravans or large buses which should be parked at the top of the hill near the road. Then lots of stairs with good handrails take you to the bottom of the cliff. You need to be steady on your feet as the area is natural rock and uneven. There are stairs and a handrail to get in and out of the pool. It’s shallow at one end and about 9’ deep at the other end. Some people had goggles on and were able to view fish swimming in the pool. The water was sparkling clean and clear while I was there. Water temp was about 20° so not warm but comfortable. Don’t miss it if your in the area and...
