Bombo Headland Lookout offers breathtaking coastal views and a striking display of natural geology. Located near Kiama, it features unique basalt columns formed by volcanic activity and shaped by quarrying and ocean erosion. The lookout provides panoramic views of the ocean, Cathedral Rocks, and surrounding beaches, making it ideal for sunrise photography and scenic walks. Easily accessible with nearby parking, it’s a peaceful yet powerful spot to connect with nature. A onetime visit spot on the NSW South Coast.

surprised at how underrated Headland Lookout is. it’s a slightly muddy but easy 10+min walk from the carpark and offers breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline. went on a rainy day but thoroughly enjoyed the misty view nonetheless.

Headland Lookout is a short walk from the parking lot. There are several things to stop and see on the way and more to admire once you get to the headland. Don't just focus on the ocean views. Bush views are just as interesting.

A majority of the pictures here probably refer to Bombo headland lookout that’s a short drive away. Walked to this headland lookout on a fairly flat grassy path for 15 -20min. However there was barely a view at the lookout as it was all covered with bushes and vegetation. In my view, not worth the effort. Headed to the Bombo headland lookout subsequently and the views were beautiful with an 10 min easy walk from the carpark (as what is written in most of the...
