ŔV Park has changed since our last visit with a ticket machine ($10 a night) and the undergrowth in the tree area cleared. Great spot to stay with a lake walk and toilets nearby. Not very far to walk into town either. Recommended, but watch where you park as many overhanging gum tree limbs.

What a lovely location for a rest, stretch the legs or to stay the night. Perfect! The RV park is spacious and $15 a night, good level spots too! There’s a good walking trail around the lake which I did a couple of laps with my dog. Nice views over the lake and got to see some turtles.

Its a beautiful place to stay for a couple of nights. It was green, spacious and a lovely setting. If you travel with dogs; there is plenty of parking choice and some lovely walks. Oh, and it was clean. Whilst close to the highway, it wasnt too noisy....just a background hum.

Great place for a quick stop in or up to 3 nights if need be, at only $10 a night via an honesty paystation as you drive in. It's an absolute bargain. Stopped in with the family on the way to SA and on the way back, perfect place to break up the long drive, especially with small kids. There is plenty of space to pull up, no designated spaces, first in best dressed. No tent camping allowed. Big rigs and all size vans and RVs woild have a drama pulling in. Minor downsides, can't swim in lake, ants are plenty here be mind full where you park, as well as glass in some areas. Apart from that great spot worth rolling in...

Great stopover camp for those who can camp offgrid and are happy to use unpowered sites. It is a pretty spot adjacent to a small lake teaming with birdlife and an easy walk into Bordertown. There are only two flush toilets and a dump point, so if you need more facilities, stay at the caravan park in Bordertown. Payment works like a city parking meter where you pay $10 into a ticket machine with a card, and it prints out a ticket that you display on your dashboard. It is adjacent to a train line so you may hear a couple of trains during the night. Highly...

Great free camping/caravan area, has honesty box for users. No designed spots just stop where you feel comfortable and setup. Has single toilet(bring own paper) no water or power all vans must be self sufficient. Stays 24hr, make sure you bring mozzies repellent- you WILL need it, the closer the lake the MORE ACTIVE. Road truck noise is bareable at night but the long - long freight trains are very loud at night- we had 7 go through the night we stayed up until 6am. If you can deal with all this it's a great spot with a short stroll into town, at least...
