Great place for a quick stop in or up to 3 nights if need be, at only $10 a night via an honesty paystation as you drive in. It's an absolute bargain. Stopped in with the family on the way to SA and on the way back, perfect place to break up the long drive, especially with small kids. There is plenty of space to pull up, no designated spaces, first in best dressed. No tent camping allowed. Big rigs and all size vans and RVs woild have a drama pulling in. Has single toilet(bring own paper) no water or power all vans must be self sufficient. Stays 24hr, make sure you bring mozzies repellent- you WILL need it, the closer the lake the MORE ACTIVE. Road truck noise is bareable at night but the long - long freight trains are very loud at night- we had 7 go through the night we stayed up until 6am. If you can deal with all this it's a great spot with a short stroll into town, at least...
