I’ve attended many events and concerts here over the years and usually never have an issue, the experiences have always been incredible, the staff have always been friendly and organised. The only pit has been delays getting out of the car park after events but this is obviously expected with the amount of people, and the walks to and from the car park which can be long at times but all in all, fine. But this time, I just have to say a special thank you for how wonderfully accommodating the team was.
My partner and I had tickets to a concert, but after recently suffering injuries from a traumatic car accident that affected my mobility among other things, I honestly thought I’d have to sell my tickets or miss out. Thankfully, I decided to call and ask about accessibility options. After filling out an online form, I received a call from a lovely lady named Fiona, and it was honestly the most reassuring phone call. She told me not to worry and arranged accessible seating for me, which was an absolute godsend. It meant I could still enjoy the concert instead of missing out entirely.
The whole lead up was so well organised. I was contacted regarding a medication register and given clear, detailed instructions for arrival. Parking was sorted right near the venue entrance, which made such a difference since walking long distances isn’t easy for me right now.
When we arrived, the ladies at the administration building were kind and helpful, and I was quickly ushered to the lifts and taken upstairs to the accessible seating area. The section had no stairs, was close to the toilets and the seats were cushioned. All small things that made a huge difference to my comfort and experience. The view from the searing was incredible. I was scared I would lose my chance at a great view but this was amazing.
I felt so well looked after from start to finish, and it honestly made me emotional to be able to attend and enjoy the concert after everything. A massive thank you to team for making that possible. It really meant the world I was so well looked after and made as comfortable...

My family member with stage 4 cancer and a stoma bag was refused to be allowed their very small 50ml aerosol adhesive remover into the venue. We understand the no aerosol rule but when you are then told “if it was roll on that’s ok” it is clear the security have no clue how to deal with certain medical conditions.
A stoma bag attached to your stomach that you defecate through is not something you can use roll on for. How is it possibly hygienic to roll on an open stoma and be able to reuse the product?
You need to use adhesive remover when changing the bag so as not to rip the opening and cause damage or infection! The security guard did not seem to care at all!
A stoma forms a medical disability so not understanding medical requirements and the safety precautions around them is careless and discriminatory. Yes, you can’t know everything about every condition etc. but you can at least be polite and try to assist people when they try to explain their circumstances.
My family member felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable and could not use the toilet as they were unable to remove their stoma bag to replace it, causing pain and upset which impacted their night immensely.
A little bit of education so that security can understand individual situations and take some very slight considerations would be appreciated.
I’m sure a supervisor with some knowledge would have understood and management could have made some sort of exception. But instead it was a flat out “no” and instead telling us to use a product that 1. Doesn’t exist… and 2. Is extremely unsafe for someone in that condition to use.
Also the removal of bottle caps is dumb - you open every single person in that venue up to being spiked and then literally just warn people not to slip on spilled drinks....

My sister bought general admission and they had seat numbers on the tickets. We get there and general admission is standing or sitting on the concrete floor/mosh pit. I asked the staff is there any way I could get a chair and sit on the side out of the way in the general admission because I have a dislodged disc in my neck and injuries in my hips and knees. I explained that I thought because the tickets had seat numbers we would be in seats and I was rather upset that it turned out they weren’t. I thought I would be faced with sitting on the hard concrete or standing for hours and I was almost in tears knowing I would be in so much pain during and after, that I wouldn’t enjoy the concert.
I politely asked and it turns out another lady with a disability was talking to staff about a seat and the staff took us to the front seats that I assume were for disabled or back up seats. They were so lovely to me and didn’t make a fuss or anything. When I went to the toilet and grab something to eat I explained to the door assistant what happened and she was glad I came up to her because all they said to her was that a few disabled people were sitting up the front, no description, so now then at least she knew what I looked like and was so kind to me.
Chairs were okay, still got a bit uncomfortable in them but not as much as I would have been if I were standing all night.
Thank you to the staff that was helpful to me and so kind. I had a wonderful night with my sister. Shout out to the staff who took our photo afterwards too. I appreciate it.
*My sister was able to come with me to the seats for when I needed help and down to the general admission when she wanted to be closer...
