Boondall Wetlands is a nice place for walk and ride your bike. Be careful of snakes though. PINK RIVER: use Nudgee entrance. Type: Tuckeroo Park Car Park 2. When you arrive at this location, don't turn right into the carpark but keep going straight, in the next 100 metres you'll see Boondall Wetlands Sign, park your car on the road side and use the board walk, in 20 meters you'll see pink river. Algae flowers when they first bloomed were bright pink, now the colours are fading out therefore river looks like pink milkshake you are about to out.

Curious about the pink waters caused by the blue algae, we navigated towards, nudgee road going to nudgee beach. Parked just off the street and just a few steps, myself and my kids stopped to marvel at the scenery. Took some photos while kids scooted off on the boardwalk. We love it! Wish we had more time to explore the trail of the Boondal Wetlands.

Nice and quiet good place for a walk. There are a few tracks here, the 2km one is the easiest one and wheelchair and pram friendly. Great place for bird watching and other wildlife. Will be coming back to do the 8km track. Remember to bring aerogard as there are a lot of mozzies here. Highly recommend going to have a look 🙂🙂.

Nice and quiet good place for a walk. There are a few tracks here, the 2km one is the easiest one and wheelchair and pram friendly. Great place for bird watching and other wildlife. Great bike and walking track going from Boondall Wetlands down to Nudgee Road. If you want to go further you can ride Nudgee Road out to Nudgee Beach, or join the Kedron Brook Bikeway and go all the way to Mitchelton. Very picturesque, through the wetlands with the bird life and the boardwalks. Good parking at either end...
