Great birthday party spot for the kids. Easy access parking, clean toilets, a fun water and sand play zone with high rope play infrastructure for the kids. There are swings and playzones for 2 year olds up. This playzone is suitable for all ages with close adult supervision due to close proximity and open ledge access to the river and access to a nearby road. The play zone is not fenced off. Adjoining the playzone there is a large open grass area with a medium sized Roleu poly hill perfect for rolling down! A bbq zone is close to the play zone allowing for simultaneous BBQ and supervision. Additionally there are multiple table/bench areas with concreted gathering space that is under a shelter. One of these shelters in particular is best suited for hosting a party so if you are hosting a kids party arrive early to shotgun the best shelter. Ramps make this gathering space all...

For what it is…. Brilliant! For what it isn’t and doesn’t have…. Can’t complain too much. It’s a kids park, a good one, tucked away next to the river. Ask any kid who’s been there and they won’t miss the things us whinging adults complain about. For the kids ….Excellent play equipment - sand, water, swings, climbing, pontoon, toilets (can’t remember if has baby change room)…. Multiples of many of these. Cafe on the fringe for convenience. So what can they improve on? More tables and chairs, an extra BBQ or two and definitely double the parking. The latter will be hard to achieve but…. Building a brilliant kids park to attract families and Not providing enough parking for them all is a head scratcher. Still...

A pretty decent park.

It has a number of BBQs and seating areas with toilets nearby for people who like to have a BBQ in the great outdoors.

For kids there are plenty of different types of playground equipment catering for different age groups. There is a big sandpit for kids that like to play in the sand and there is a water feature in the play area as well.

There are 2 cafes nearby, one is a larger one that sells a variety of food and drinks but it is a bit expensive and a smaller one that sells tennis equipment as well.

You can also walk a bit along the Brisbane River and if you are in the mood you can also play tennis there as well since it is situated next to the Pat...

We love this park. We had our 9yr old daughters 1st bday here and we bring our 2yr old son here often. As regulars would know, it's great value for kids of all ages up to at least 10 to have fun Sand area with lots of play equipment. A large low level Rope climbing obstacle course, a small playground and a couple play ride things lol. 4 swings with both a low and high back baby seats and a large round swing. Plenty of grassy areas and seating areas and public toilets. Parking can be limited during busy periods and there is one BBQ area. Definitely bring some insect repellent!

A great park, that has great facilities. Which includes clean electric BBQ’s. Not always easy to get a park though! I like the old brick wall that still stands. As part of the once Tennyson power station. The playgrounds are really enjoyable for the kids or us adults who can be still a kid 🤣 Having said all that though, shame that there’s the tennis centre there & how the old power station was demolished. What should have happened. Was what the Power House in New Farm has become...

This is a great park for coming with family or friends. The playground is awesome. It has different sections for different ages. There are sliders and sand pits. There is a section where kids can climb or play hide and seek. There is plenty of shade. Toilets and parking. Nice for picnics. You can take a nice walk. Or ride your bicycle with your friends or kids.
