Sir John Chandler Park — Attraction in Brisbane City

One of the hidden beaty of Brisbane situated between Indooroopilly golf club and Brisbane River. To get there visitors need to drive from St Lucia through narrow and curvey road. Because this place is not accessible by public transport, it remains quiet most of the time. It is a very calm and peaceful place. It has specious car park, toilet and kids playground. But the bbq here is non-electric, rusty and dirty. Also the water of Brisbane river at this section is muddy...

We really love this park..Quiet and have a view. Kids can play in the playground, parents can enjoy the view of the Brisbane River. In the afternoon some dog owner take their dog to walk in this park.

Facilities in this park relatively great. Water tap, path walk, gazebo, bbq (wood), and a large space of green grass to playing or laying on it.

This park is a bit isolated, so not super busy. However, it has good breezes off the river, an off-leash dog area, and a pirate themed playground with shade sails. It also has a small toilet block which is handy. There is now a great coffee van from Friday-Sunday for all your caffeine needs! Very tasty!! If you have a boat, there is a ramp to launch from...
