It's a good place to bring your family on a weekends. Nature loving people will love this place. Some of the walking trails can be rather tough, like the reservoir trail, so be prepared! Other trails like the honeyeater trail is rather relaxing and good for beginners or people who want to chill. Do consult the trail map before you head out!

From the carpark you can choose from a few different tracks; information is given in the signposts along the way. I did the honeyeater track to the summit lookout, it was a gradual uphill climb and it was a fair workout but nothing too hard! I didn’t time the climb, but it was probably 30minutes to the lookout of Mount Cootha.

Great walking trail, if you are starting such an experience. Steepness is just ideal for starters and is approx 2 km stretch towards the lookup point, to enjoy the Brissie view.
