My fave hiking spot and most memorable indeed. Going down down down is superbly delightful and saying hello to fellow hikers coming back up or just coming up from the other side, but make sure you have strong legs to actually come back up :) Or there's always alternatives at beautiful Mt coot-tha. I never took the alternative way, it is a very steep hike going down. So wear proper shoes. There's many hike trails available alongside the Honeyeater track here. But Honeyeater is my fave, it takes you into the heart of the forest, and you just keep going deeper and deeper and kinda makes you wonder how deep you can go and worry whether you can make it back up :) it is a challenge, and definitely one that'll get your legs and butt FIT after a few sessions.
