Nudgee Waterhole Reserve — Attraction in Brisbane City

This reserve is smaller than other ones I've been to but still decent. Popped it into maps, and it took us directly to the designated carpark. Not huge, but room for up to 10 cars as a guess.

I'd say the best part/ most visible part of the waterhole is from the viewing platform right next to the carpark. We saw lots of birds but no turtles or eels - unlike other reviews. We didn't spend a lot of time on the viewing platform. We followed the path along to the playground and spotted a couple of bbqs that looked really clean and there was also an undercover table with bench seats. We followed the path and ended up walking through ACU University and kept going until we reached the dog park. There is signage here and there. We continued on the path and could see cars from the road and soon enough we found ourselves back at our starting point again. This has always been a favorite place to go when i need to clear my head and just relax; it's also a favorite place for my kids as they love to feed the many ducks that can be found swimming or waddling around. We grew up not far from here and its just lovely to see that it's been kept natural and clean for all this time. There isn't much parking however its not often that you arrive and the place is full. It's a nice relatively quiet spot that is usually only used as a quick stop for a leg stretch or just passersby wanting to investigate.
