This is SUCH a beautiful place. It's well worth a visit if you haven't already. Its a great getaway from the 'rat race' sort of place. By this I mean that its a wonderful place to escape from the running and rushing around, with a relaxed and laid back pace. Be aware that some area's (depending on your phone and your ISP provider) have generally low mobile signal and internet connectivity. For many though this will be just fine in our pursuit of peace and quiet.

There are multiple Bunya rain forest walking tracks, of varying lengths and requiring different levels of fitness and hiking skills. They are all well sign posted though and the signs also recommend how much time you should allow for each track. Another wonderful aspect of Bunya Mountains is that it generally is 5 to 10 degrees cooler than down Brisbane or Toowoomba way. This is very...

The Bunya Mountains National Park is a must for all of you weary travellers to visit on your trek around this beautiful country whether you are doing this for the first time or would like to have an extended holiday please treat yourself to that special vacation you and your family wanted to have but for some reason or other couldn't afford the time or the money. Take my advice and just do it. You will never regret it. Now I must take the opportunity to thank all my carers for caring for me while I was enjoying this wonderful Vacation. Being disabled I find it difficult to manage certain aspects of my life particularly using the toilet. I am concerned that if I may not get there on time I will often wet my pants and soil my clothes at the most...

BOY O BOY. What a magic place to visit. They have a large number of rentals for you to choose from, check with a real estate agent. The cafe s have a good range of different meals and there's a souvenirs shop should you have the need for that unusual gift. Have only been here two times and have always enjoyed the chirping of the birds. This would definitely be the place to have a quite holiday and enjoy your time among nature's best. The wife and I have returned to the Bunya Mountains to stay and celebrate our 49 wedding anniversary, we just love the peace and quiet of the region especially to be able to enjoy and watch the birds, they have a great time coming to you to be fed but only feed them with the bird food you purchase...

Beautiful rainforests and incredible hiking trails. Definitely worth a visit. The area is full of wildlife including lots of wallabies, cockatoos, possums, lorikeets and galahs. It’s peaceful, laid-back and a great place to go off-line for a few days and recharge in nature. Phone and Internet reception is incredibly limited, which may or may not be a good thing depending on how online you’d like to be. There’s a small shop with very basic food essentials as well as a good selection of local gifts including artisanal sauces and jams. The hiking trails generally aren’t too steep, and most of them are in the shade which makes them good for all weather conditions including summer.

Stayed at Godshill house. Accommodation fantastic. Very comfortable and well thought out. Love the fireplaces and outside fire pit. Resteraunt and cafes great food ,freindly service and well appointed venue. Has small local shop with basics you need and some gifts. Lots of walking tracks. Never seen so many Wallabies in one place. One toilet not working was reported but remained unfixed. I was told to use other guest's toilet by the guy that came out refused to look at it and left. Not happy with that cost them a star. We had a great time and would recommend a stay but if things are reported they should fix them while you are there not after you leave.
