Great Hindu temple, and can see how much passion and effort was put into making it. Definitely worth visiting. Canteen facility on Saturday afternoon evening and Sunday afternoon. Always feels relaxed, calm and refreshing whenever visit the Hindu temple. Pleasing environment Nice food and prasad A serene place that can be visited with family. Apart from participating in the temple activities, one can enjoy the delicious South Indian food available in the temple canteen. The temple canteen has a menu of limited number of dishes like idli, vada and variety of dosas. Expect a clean and hygienic place.

If you are religious and you are hindu you got this place for you. At the entrance you can see statue of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha and Lord Radha Krishna. You can go inside to worship and sit down to meditate. One thing they could improve, change the donation system (donation could be made open: people can donate any amount 1, 2, 3 or 100; rather than they have to choose the amount shown in donation machine).

So I visited this temple today, being the 1st Friday of Aadi. I was greeted by an extremely rude temple personnel mending the counter. I’m a tourist and I was flabbergasted by his behaviour this morning, in a holy ambience. I wasn’t expecting this from someone who is supposed to be in the service of God. When asked about the archanai, he raised his voice at me asking me if I have a $10 bill. I said I don’t and showed him my $50 note. And he raised his voice again at me and opened up his cash register showing me that he doesn’t have change for $50 and everybody has been shoving him with a $50 bill since morning. Come on! That’s not the way you talk to a temple devotee who has come to seek peace and God early in the morning. For a moment, I didn’t know how to react.

And then I asked if they had lamps to offer. Again, he rudely pointed to the left to a tray of lamps and pointed to the back to another tray of lamps and raised his voice “Yes, we have! Which one do you want?”

What happened to the “Om Shanthi” attitude that we have been thought to cultivate. What I cannot and will never condone is, this bad attitude coming from a temple representative in a holy setting. Such negativity shouldn’t be displayed in the temple. The vibes were just wrong.

Other than this awful experience I had, the temple is beautiful and serene with ladies singing bajans in front of Durga. I hope someone reads this and responds...

The Perth Hindu Temple is an absolute gem tucked away in the heart of this beautiful city. As soon as you step inside, you are enveloped in a serene and tranquil atmosphere that instantly soothes your soul. The temple's architecture is stunning, showcasing intricate designs and vibrant colors that reflect the rich heritage of Hindu culture.

The staff and volunteers at the temple are incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make visitors feel at ease and answer any questions they may have. The temple hosts various religious and cultural events throughout the year, providing a wonderful opportunity to learn and engage with Hindu traditions.

The prayer hall is a peaceful sanctuary where one can find solace and seek spiritual guidance. The divine deities exude an aura of divine energy, and the rhythmic chants and devotional music create a truly transcendent experience.

I highly recommend visiting the Perth Hindu Temple, whether you're a devoted Hindu or simply seeking a place of tranquility and enlightenment. It is an oasis of spirituality in the heart of Perth, leaving a lasting impression on...
