Disappointing Experience - Rude Staff Ruined Our Friend’s Birthday Dinner

We had booked a table for 8 in advance for a friend's birthday, looking forward to a nice evening. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be a disaster due to the staff's rude behavior.

When we arrived and ordered 3 street food starters from the menu, we were told that none of them were available. Disappointed, I politely approached the staff at the main counter to ask what starters were actually available. The waitress abruptly replied, "The entire street food starters menu is not available at this time," and gave no explanation as to why we weren’t informed earlier, either during booking or when given the menu.

I was in complete shock when she rudely asked, "Did you ask?" She had a terrible attitude, making it seem like it was our fault for not knowing this beforehand, even though there was no mention of it on the menu. Another friend also tried politely asking her why this wasn’t communicated earlier, and her response was just as unprofessional, claiming that customers already knew they don't serve street food starters at night – despite the fact that we had come from Perth city, far from our home, and this information was nowhere on their menu.

The situation escalated to the point where we had to leave the restaurant around 8:30 PM and find another place to accommodate all of us – 9 people in total – on such short notice. Throughout the interaction, the staff member made no effort to apologize or offer any solutions. Instead, she continued making rude faces, with a dismissive attitude that ruined the entire evening.

Worst ever experience. Restaurant was busy and we were asked to wait for 10 minutes before they get a table for us. We waited for 20-25 minutes but no one called us inside even though couple of tables got emptied. Then, two families came, parked their car next to mine and went inside the restaurant and reception guy offered them a table while he also looked at us that we were waiting outside.I thought they might have more room for people. I went inside and asked for table but he said still no space. When I asked that 2 families came after us and they prioratised them (because were more in number), he lied that they came before us. I was really pissed at that time and left from there but still no sorry from their side. They might be offering good food but I won’t recommend if reception is worst. I gave one star but they don’t even deserve one. I don’t mind walking away if busy, but alteast they should inform us that they won’t be able to get a table. Ok i have been to this restaurant 4 times now because the food is great, when you get it... Every time i drove in and ordered at restaurant i literally have had to stand there confused myself, by the way you are not addressed or acknolaged or even a hello.every time there is 2-/3 employees behind the desk all looking confused ,heads in and out of bags trying to figure out wat is going on.
