Easy, but gorgeous trail. Keep your eyes open for small insects and other details. We witnessed a group of green ants carrying a cricket into a tree. And we saw a bunch of massive spiders webbing their beautiful webs close to the boardwalk. We enjoyed seeing the mangrove and the beautiful fern trees above us. This trail pleasantly surprised us and our kids (assure 5 and 8).

This trail is suitable for young kids, prams and wheelchair. It ends at the beach, but you have to step off the boardwalk to access the beach.

You can shorten the walk by taking the direct part to the beach (there will be a sign). But the loop...

This trail is amazing and beautiful during the day however it comes alive at night! I would absolutely hands down do a bought time tour. We were absolutely wowed by our tour guide Kane. He was friendly, passionate and enthusiastic with our group. He resonated completely with some young children in our tour but told all the facts in such a way everyone enjoyed it. The rainforest is a magical place and Kane showed us such amazing things the plants and animals do , I came away so grateful to our rainforest warriors who look after it. Thanks so much for a...

I liked this boardwalk better than Madja mainly because it was longer, it was well lit (as opposed to being covered entirely by trees so it looks darker), and most importantly more wildlife. I did this walk twice today! The morning walk I got to see feral pigs, as well as lots of fowls and other smaller birds. There were interesting looking spiders too. My afternoon walk was the better one. Got to see a cassowary! It was actually on the boardwalk! This boardwalk is also next to the Myall Beach where there is a giant croc there too! Highly...

Best short hike in the Daintree If you only have the time, or energy for one walk, this is the one to pick. It's very close to Cape Tribulation, and is an easy, flat looped walk from a large car park, which also has toilets and picnic tables. You can cut the walk in half with an escape loop, or do the full circuit, and also take a short diversion down to Myall Beach. The scenery is superb with sensational palm trees and lovely patches of rainforest. A must do on any visit to the Daintree.

Lovely walk, boarded 90%of the way and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, wheel chair friendly, has a short cut built in for those wanting a shorter version and the longer version on a guided tour was about 1 hour definitely was a better choice to do it with a tour guide who can offer insight and stories along the way. No refreshments or food at this location but does have toilets and ample parking for both buses and cars
