Hoods Lagoon — Attraction in Clermont

Known also as Hoods Lagoon, this is possibly the best asset in Clermont which is something of a frontier town riding high or low on commodities prices.

Hoods Lagoon is a calm and peaceful park, great for a casual walk. I went with a friend, and we had a nice time strolling around the lagoon. The area is not overcrowded, so it offers a tranquil vibe. The paths are decent, and there are some benches to sit and relax. The park itself is clean but could use a little more maintenance in some places. This is a lovely walk around Hood’s Lagoon with a lot of historical memorials to enjoy and read and a lovely old bridge in the middle. A painted train in the middle of town helps brighten everything up.
